Kevin Smith is a renaissance man in the most modern sense. Since the release of his movie Clerks in 1994, he has been seemingly everywhere as a filmmaker, actor, comic book writer, pop culture fan, podcaster and a pretty funny guy whether sharing his thoughts on social media or in any of his other commercial ventures. He has two long-standing passions that vie for his attention - his wife Jen and his podcasting forays.

Dr. Tim Junio is SVP, Products at Cortex and former co-founder and CEO of Expanse, a San Francisco-based software company recently acquired by Palo Alto Networks. Expanse’s software was deployed at many of the world’s largest organizations, including all of the US military services and dozens of Fortune 500 companies. He has over a decade of experience in cyber operations and large-scale distributed sensing. Prior to co-founding Expanse, he worked at DARPA, RAND Corporation, Office of the Secretary of Defense, and the CIA. Tim holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Johns Hopkins University, and was a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University.

Nir Zuk brings a wealth of network security expertise and industry experience to Palo Alto Networks. Prior to co-founding Palo Alto Networks, Nir was CTO at NetScreen Technologies, which was acquired by Juniper Networks in 2004. Prior to NetScreen, Nir was co-founder and CTO at OneSecure, a pioneer in intrusion prevention and detection appliances. Nir was also a principal engineer at Check Point Software Technologies, and was one of the developers of stateful inspection technology.

Vidya Gopalakrishnan is a Staff Security Engineer with the Palo Alto Networks SOC. She leads the threat hunting program at our SOC and is responsible for running hunting operations and developing use cases to continually hunt for using Palo Alto Networks products. She has close to 5 years of experience working in SOC/Blue Team roles.

Liat Hayun is a VP of Product Management at Palo Alto Networks, leading different security products and services within the Cortex group. Liat has been a part of the Palo Alto Network Product team for over 5 years, during which she led Product Management for Cortex XDR, and later led the creation and launch of the Cortex XDR Managed Threat Hunting service.

Zeynep is CMO, Cloud & AI Security at Palo Alto Networks. She holds a PhD from Cambridge University, and previously worked in the office of the CEO at Palantir, responsible for commercial growth and strategy. Before Palantir, she was the Chief Digital Officer at Dogan TV Holdings, deputy head of Google+ marketing in Europe, and head of consumer marketing of Google Turkey.

Wendi is the Senior Vice President of Cyber Consulting and Threat Intelligence at Palo Alto Networks. Wendi has nearly two decades of experience in incident response Investigations and cyber threat intelligence. As the Vice President of IBM Security X-Force, Wendi was responsible for the global X-Force Incident Response, Proactive Services, Cyber Range, and Threat Intelligence practices. She began her career as a Special Agent conducting computer crime investigations with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) and held executive level positions at CrowdStrike Services and Mandiant.
